Calistoga Motor Lodge, owned by Trump’s sons Eric and Donald Jr., has been providing security for his properties in California since the 2016 election.
The family-run business also has been involved in some of the more controversial aspects of Trump’s presidency, including the president’s refusal to release his tax returns, his controversial travel ban and his alleged ties to Russia.
Eric Trump, president of the Trump Organization, said the lodge was “very pleased to be a part of the President’s team.”
Eric Trump also said the Trump administration’s “long-standing commitment to protecting our country is what motivated us to become a part and a full partner of the Calistogoga Lodge family,” according to The Hill.
The CalistOGlodge, located at 823 E. 13th St., has an annual fee of $20,000 and an annual membership fee of up to $5,000.
According to the Trump Foundation’s website, it has provided security for the Trump family for more than 30 years.
The Trump Organization is registered to an address in the resort town of Pompano Beach, Florida, where the hotel was built in 1960.
The building has a total floor area of 4,700 square feet and a total occupancy rate of 45 percent.
The lodge’s owner, Calistoganic Motor Lodge Limited, is based in Scotland, according to its website.
The company was incorporated in Scotland in 2001 and is registered as an entity in the UK.
Calistochogic is a subsidiary of Trump International Hotel and Tower in Hong Kong.
The property was purchased in 2015 for $3.3 billion, according the New York Times.
Trump has been in the spotlight since the election, especially since he said in December that the president of China was a “puppet” of the Russian government.
The president, who has called the allegation “total nonsense,” has denied the claim.
In January, Trump accused the United Nations of trying to undermine his presidency by launching an investigation into his tax filings.
“They’re looking at the filings, they’re looking into everything, and they’re just trying to get a grip on my presidency,” Trump said at the time.
Trump’s tax returns have been an ongoing topic for the media since the president announced his bid for the White House, as well as after he was elected president.
Trump claimed he was “under audit” after being audited for six years by the Office of Government Ethics (OGE), a watchdog group.
He said in March that the audit was done “by people who are not my friends.”
“It’s a complete fabrication,” Trump told CNN.
The IRS is investigating the allegations against Trump, and his tax records have also been scrutinized.
The investigation was first reported by the New Yorker.
