As you may have noticed, we have been getting lots of requests to post our deadwood Lodge pictures.
We know that we’re missing out on some of the fun stuff that the lodge enthusiasts want to see, so we thought we’d share some of our favorites.
For the past couple of years, we’ve had our eyes on the lovely old lodge at deadwoods Lodge at the Woods in the Woods at the Lakes.
The Lodge at Deadwoods was built in 1912 as a boarding school.
It has been in use as a lodge since 1953.
A little over a decade ago, we saw a few people coming and going, and then a few years ago, a lot more people started coming and it was becoming crowded.
Over the past several years, the Lodge at deadroots was a regular gathering place for the locals.
I don’t know what happened to it, but we’ve heard rumors that it was razed and burned.
In a bid to get some good photos of the building, we decided to go to the Lodge.
While the place is quite well-preserved, it is a little bit disused.
So, we brought a camera along to capture the building.
Unfortunately, we weren’t able to capture a good photo of the old lodge itself.
But, we did capture some great images of the interior.
Here are a few of them.
We didn’t capture a lot of photos of our own, but you can check out the slideshow for some of them: Here is a photo of a few deadwoods regulars that we did catch on our walk to the lodge: We have a photo album of all the photos we took. Enjoy!
