JACKSON, Idaho (AP) The Champagne Lodge at the top of Jackson Lake in Idaho’s Mackinac Island National Forest will close its doors Wednesday to the public.
The Lodge will reopen at 11 a.m.
Tuesday, with plans for a new bar and restaurant.
A timeline for the closure has not been announced.
The hotel was popular with travelers for its historic rooms and a boutique boutique restaurant.
The lodge is owned by Jacksons family.
For more than 30 years, Jacksens family owned the Champagne Lake Lodge.
In 2017, the hotel was forced to close because of an aging infrastructure.
